So with completed development of the piano roller having just come about, it felt only right to share some more news and updates on how the development of everything in 4.0 is coming along. And you can see in the slide below, Klavier Kreation Studios has some exciting new features to offer in the upcoming release of the 4.0 version of the Klaviactor. So, to start with, when you first open the piano roller scene, you will have two options. One is the Render Studio that you can choose and the other is the Study Station. The Render Studio will be something that might appeal for those of you who have interest in creating piano roller videos for the pieces of music that you are studying. Where one will be able to go through each individual note in your midi recording and apply different types of customizable particle effects to one or groups or all notes, or different skins, say one wants skins with images or more of a rounded shape, or gradients, etc. the option will be available to one, or groups, or all notes if one were so to want it, and the same goes for different types of aura effects and electricity effects that will be available with a color wheel to define which color one would like to any or all notes along with keyboard effects for the same features, along with custom scaling options for the piano roll will be available. One will then be able to render the desired piano roller generated from the midi file into a transparent PNG image sequence and finish the rest up in a video editing and compositing application. Then, of course in the Study Station has to offer various settings you can have within your study experience. One can play just the metronome as the selected piece would have the metronome play and play along with the notes in just such a way for metronome practice or watch it at all different tempos in or out of loops, with the options to have note names on the falling notes or a labeled key board as well, as is shown in the screen shots. And if in the video below you notice a few functions will be sorted through in the video clip, but see no mouse, be assured a mouse did click on anything that took place, it just did not render as it was shot in the work environment. One can also customize the background if one so desires and scale notes to their own preference if the default settings are not quite right to the liking. And in the process of developing all of this, the ambition for creating a new addition to the Klaviactor came about, to have perfectly generated sheet music from midi files become available for play along, for study, with note highlights in play through and play back and the printout of sheet music become available for exactly how the midi would have it played aside from many Bach and other pieces you will find where the sheet music is different from the midi. But, that is a year to a year and a half down the road or so. And also the possible development for Android and IOS may happen. But, it is exciting and with that said, that about wraps everything up for what is all going on at Klavier Kreation Studios. If you have any questions, please feel free to send them in through the form on the home page.
Cheers,
